Ayurvedic Products and Blister Packs in Our Everyday Life

Ayurvedic products are useful in many ways. In an equal amount as they cure illnesses, they are also effective for preventing diseases. Blister packs are also relatively efficient when we talk about medicines, especially tablets and capsules. These products and packs are entirely different in their roles; in a sense, the former affect us directly while the latter indirectly. Still we can see how much they bear on our everyday life.

Ayurveda, Ayurvedic products and our life
Based on an ancient Indian system of medicine, Ayurvedic products have had a long history. They are created on the principles of Ayurveda, which is made up of two parts: "ayur" meaning life and "veda" meaning science or knowledge. One of the remarkable features of these products is their emphasis on spiritualism. They focus on the mind, body and spirit of an individual. In a larger picture, they show the link between the people, their health and the universe.

Ayurvedic products are a natural way of healing. Most of the ingredients are extracted from herbs, plants, flowers, vegetables and fruits. Their holistic impact in curing and preventing an illness is another striking feature. What they lack is in only their side effect. Most of the products are considered to have the least or negligible side effects.

Experts in Ayurveda mention the three "dosha", or life forces that constitute a human body around which the products work. "Pitta dosha" controls the hormone and digestion, "vatta dosha" controls the heart and breathing, and "kapha dosa" controls the immune system and overall condition of a body.

Tablets, capsules and blister packs
In packaging for pharmaceutical products, blister packs are the ideal choice for their flexibility. Their main component is a cavity made from a substance such as thermoformed plastic, with a backing of paper board or aluminum foil. Tablets and capsules are mostly available in blister packs. This packaging style has a long list of merits. Some of them are mentioned below:

• They are easy to use and are safe
• Increase compliance and adherence to quality standards as well as the medication knowledge of the patients
• Improve cost control and the patient-pharmacist interaction
• Alleviate space and inventory concerns of the sellers
• Easy to dispense, while there is a great protection for the products

Conclusion
Ayurvedic products are one of the major alternative medicines these days. They affect an individual on different layers of physical, mental and psychological conditions. We use them directly. On the other hand, the blister packs protect the products. In a way or the other, both of them are quite useful in our everyday life.
